Addressing the Box
Addressing the Box was inspired by breasts - beautiful, supple, sexy AF breasts that hung on the photo department gallery wall after every quarter during my first successful bout with higher education. During my time there, through the eyes of students 10-years my junior, I became aware that the arc of my relationship with my vagina is a common one among girls and women: riddled with pain, and shame, and bliss, and function. Addressing the Box has been alive since 2005. It has encountered visceral rejection or solid support every time it has seen the light. This is how I know it may be onto something. It’s what compels me to dust it off every 5-years or so and share it with my community.
